Hi! This is Tong
As a UX designer with an architecture background, I’ve developed the ability to empathize with users, collaborate with the design and engineering team, and explore design solutions.
I graduated from Art Center College of Design as an architectural designer.
In the process of transitioning to this career, I was able to work with different groups of teams including designers, users, clients, and stakeholders, and apply my design and research skills to several projects. I’m looking forward to working with a passionate team in the near future at Los Angeles county area.
RESUME
In my journey of exploring my career path, I have experienced and gained many design skills such as painting, crafting, making digital art, 3d modeling, rendering, and most important of all, designing for human-oriented products.
Among all of these design skills, I have learned that the essential element of being a good designer isn't just about skills, but also how to empathize with users and think from a human-centered perspective. All the tools we utilize are at the service of human experience and feelings. We feel, we empathize, and we solve problems.
I appreciate and embrace all my identities: UX designer, architectural designer, graphic designer, painter, performer.
What I'm aiming for is to become a human-centered designer and work positively to impact people's lives and continue to be mindful of my designs.
